Education
- Free Summer Seminars with the Institute for Humane Studies – IHS Summer Seminars provide an opportunity to learn about classical liberal ideas, such as individual rights and free markets, and apply these ideas to topics in history, economics, philosophy and many other disciplines. The seminars are an ideal intellectual environment—outstanding professors, inquisitive students, and vigorous discussion on a beautiful college campus. A typical seminar day is filled with lectures, discussion groups, and a nightly social. Choose from 11 weeklong, interdisciplinary seminars that vary according to topic complexity, career path, and academic interest.
- Mises University with the Mises Institute – The Mises University is the world’s leading instructional program in the Austrian School of economics. Since 1986, it has been the essential training ground for economists who are looking beyond the mainstream. The program offers courses, seminars, and reading groups on the whole range of the discipline. A core curriculum presents economic foundations, and more than fifty elective classes explore the entire range of economics, in all levels of advancement.
- Summer Seminars with the Foundation for Economic Education – The mission of the Foundation for Economic Education is to “inspire, educate, and connect future leaders with the principles of a free society.” The programs department at FEE plays an important role in that work, offering annual summer seminars that challenge students of freedom with those ideas that lie at the heart of our prosperity. Attending one of these seminars shapes the intellect and prepares one to be an advocate for liberty.

The intensive ten-week program begins in June and includes a $1,500 stipend and a housing allowance.
- Koch Internship Program with the Charles G. Koch Foundation – The Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation Internship Program was established to develop the next generation of liberty-minded leaders and entrepreneurs. Over the course of the program, Interns engage in key Foundation projects while learning and applying Market-Based Management®. Interns work at non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations in fascinating roles including policy research, leadership and talent development, grassroots education, marketing, and network development. This hands-on experience gives interns the chance to explore the non-profit sector while applying the management philosophy they are learning from the Foundation, and allows them to build a network of like-minded friends and associates.
